Spotlight on FAME Athletes!


FAME Pro Isabelle Rochon is now a Magazine Cover Model.   Check her out on Summun Magazine which also features big names such as Eva Longroria, Angelina Jolie and Nelly Furtado (see cover blurbs).

Isabelle has a multi page photo spread through out the magazine, was shot by famed photographer Paul Buceta (maybe another cover in her near future?) and was also interviewed by Derniere Huere Magazine (she’s from Quebec) about her preparations for the FAME World Championships Pro Showdown - which includes practicing her stage walk and 1/4 turns on video so she can get feedback from her #1 guy who is currently deployed in Afghanistan. (It was actually him who encouraged her to hit the Worlds Stage by buying her a hotel package in Toronto!).  If you want to see more of Isabelle check her out on the FAME Stage! Kris Gethin and Julie Marsland are taking the lead on Bodybuilding.com’s live chat on May 23 at 1pm MDT.  It’s all about competing and about the FAME World Championships.  So get it on the action and be sure to ask them your questions.  Both Julie and Kris are competing on Sat June 14 for the FAME World Championships Pro Showdown.   So get to know them beforehand and then cheer them on at the Worlds!


FAME is now working much closer with the great people at Bodybuilding.com so stay tuned for more FAME Athlete features on their site!  In fact, longtime FAME Fan who now is part of the FAME Team, Christine Killik (who you will see backstage at many of the shows) is their new ‘Gossip’ Correspondent!   Congratulations!!



Exciting news... For the first time ever in FAME history we have siblings who share status as a FAME Professional!  Oh, and it goes one step further. These siblings are identical twins!!  

Congratulations to sisters Elena & Tatiana Koshman who are both FAME Pro Fitness Models.  Elena, you may recall, won her Pro Status at the FAME South Central Championships in Texas a few weeks back, with sister Tatiana coming in a very close runner up.  Fast forward to this past weekend at the FAME Tropicals in Florida where Tatiana took to the stage again, this time with Elena cheering her on in the audience, and came out victorious as a new FAME Pro!  Congratulations gals!  See you at the Worlds!    photo by Tekla Photography



FAME Pro Ainsley McSorley is very excited about the Ainsley McSorley FAME Model Search Championships taking place this Saturday in Winnipeg, Manitoba. (And why wouldn’t she be?  It’s the very first show created in her name to help bring her additional exposure as a Pro Bikini Model!).

The emcee of the show is none other than Wheeler from Power 97FM!   Plus Ainsley herself will be featured on air on Friday morning on the Wheeler and Hal morning show!  Congratulations Ainsley.  Check her out and all the FAME Models this Saturday.  Tickets available online or at the door!



FAME Pro Rob Riches, who is currently in the FAME Magazine in an ab article will soon be featured in Men’s Health Magazine as part of an ad campaign for a supplement company which focuses on his abs!  Good job Rob!


Plus watch for the Rob Riches FAME Competitions coming to both California (his residence) and England (his birthplace)!  Details to be announced soon!   Rob will also be competing at the FAME World Championships Pro Showdown so watch for him there.  Tickets available online or at the door OR watch him live on Web TV during the LIVE Broadcast taking place all weekend long!



Meagan Rodriguez a first time FAME Bikini Model athlete once suffered from Bulimia.  “It was the Victoria's Secret models,” she recalls. “Everybody was skinny, everybody was perfect. I wanted desperately to look like those girls, but I would look in the mirror and think I was fat. What you don't take into consideration is that everyone has different genetics, everyone has a different body structure.” Realizing that, Meagan set her attention on the FAME Stage so she could treat her body with care and then proudly display the end results of her hard work for all to see!  Check her article that appeared in the San Antonio Express newspaper .   Meagan also caught the attention of her university newspaper which featured her debut at the Diana Chaloux FAME South Central Championships in the front page of the Sports Section.  See it and more of Meagan here.   Congratulations Meagan!




Leroy Bascombe has great news.  He is now a sponsored athlete!  Congratulations Leroy on getting picked up by DLM Dance and Entertainment!  

Watch for Leroy and his girlfriend Tamara Nikic on stage at the FAME World Championships & Pro Showdown where they will both be gunning for Pro Status!

Plus for anyone who still wants to compete..  You can!   The Friday night show is open to newcomers - so you do not need to qualify in advance. Just register.  You will will have to participate in the FAME Camp workshop during that weekend - which will help you for the stage anyways!  If you want to compete in the Advanced Level show on Sunday you can attend FAME Idol on Tuesday June 10.  Good luck. FAME World Tour - News


1. Check out the Results from the Ava Cowan FAME Tropicals and the South Africa FAME Durban Regionals.  New Pros were found and a lot of fun was had!  Congratultions to everyone!  See you at the Worlds!

Veronique Lorie, an athlete who competed in FAME East has been banned by the World Natural Sports Organization and is no longer eligible to compete in the FAME World Tour.  After more than 2 hours waiting with her to provide a urine sample, outrage by her boyfriend when her name was called by the Physique Screening Panel and now a positive drug test result, we apologize to all FAME East athletes who were affected by what occurred both backstage and onstage.
