OVERVIEW:
The FAME Swimsuit Model Search (or Bikini for women) is designed for attractive, healthy, vibrant males and females and who exude confidence and a great body! Models do not need to be toned for this category although they should still be in shape. There is no routine component and only 1 round of competition.
There is not one type of ‘look’ that is ideal for this category, rather the judges are looking to ensure your shape and symmetry suit your skeletal frame and personality.
Models are also marked on posture, body symmetry, confidence & projection, style & fluidity of walk and turns, marketability and general impression. Judges are also looking for a vibrant, healthy look; a great attitude; impeccable grooming; and good suit selection. They should seem relaxed and look like they are having a great time!
ONE ROUND : BIKINI (100%)
Athletes select their own suit for this round. They should pay attention to styles, colors, patterns and fits that flatter and accentuate their fit body - and perhaps hide any flaws. Standard Outfits for females include high heels and a 2-piece suit that best displays their physique and body symmetry.
JUDGING
Competitors must appear comfortable and relaxed on stage. They should show personality and appear as though they enjoy being in the spotlight.
Overall, judges are looking for a shapely physique; good posture and symmetry; confidence, charisma and exceptional style on stage; ability to pose in interesting, photographable ways; lean body composition; great stage presence; and an attractive, healthy, vibrant look that could be realistically marketable in the industry.
Abs can be visible, but are not necessary. There is no specific percentage of body fat or musculature that is ideal for this category, rather it's what best suits that athlete best.
